ST PAULS Philippines once again participated as an exhibitor in the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), held from September 11-15, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, Pasay City.
The ST PAULS booth was led by Fr. John Klen Malificiar SSP, Director General for Apostolate, and Fr. Albert Garong SSP, head of the Marketing Office. The booth, designed by Cl. Ronel De los Reyes SSP, was staffed by lay collaborators of the Diffusion and Marketing Sectors.
At the fair, ST PAULS showcased a range of books and new products, including bestsellers such as the 365 Days with the Lord Bible Diary, Pandasal, and devotional calendars. Additionally, five new book titles were introduced, authored by Bishop Nolly Buco, Fr. Dennis Yu, Fr. Mario Ladra, Fr. Joselito Jopson, and Mr. Jay Aruga. The authors were present for the signing of their books.
On September 14, ST PAULS, through its Bible Ministry Team, led by Fr. Angelo Paolo Asprer SSP, also hosted the Championship Round of the 11th National Bible Quiz (SPNBQ) at the same venue. The quiz featured 14 finalist schools and captivated the audience with the impressive display of biblical knowledge from young scholars, delighting both seasoned enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
The MIBF, organized by Prime Trade Asia, Inc. and led by Ms. Irene Lloren, one of the sponsors of SPNBQ, featured over a hundred local and international exhibitors, making it a significant event for book lovers and industry professionals.
